917 Day 2025: A New American Revolution — Led by the Constitution, Fueled by Truth

“Happy 917 Day.”That’s how Joni Bryan, founder of the 917 Society, greeted us this morning — with hope, pride, and an unflinching resolve.
It’s Constitution Day. And for those who know what that means, it’s not just another federal observance. It’s the anniversary of the birth of American self-government — September 17, 1787 — when our Founding Fathers, through grit and grace, signed the U.S. Constitution.
And for the 917 Society, it is our mission day. The day we celebrate everything we stand for: Justice. Education. Truth.
This year, 917 Day lands at a crossroads moment in American life. There is tragedy. There is outrage. There is awakening. And, yes, there is hope.
We sat down with Joni Bryan to ask: where are we as a country today — and where is this movement going?
“We Are in a New American Revolution — But It’s a Peaceful One”
“There is a rising up of the people,” Joni told us. “Almost like a new American revolution. But it’s not going to be fought with weapons. It will be fought with voices, with social media, and with truth. Because we’ve had enough.”
Enough of the censorship. Enough of the ideological intimidation. Enough of being told what to think, how to speak, and which facts we’re allowed to believe.
Joni remembers when the 917 Society was censored by social media platforms for distributing pocket Constitutions and teaching civic education. She remembers when advertisers banned their content because the Constitution was deemed “divisive.” She remembers when the National Archives labeled the Constitution as containing hate speech.
“That was our own National Archives. How insane is that?” she said. “But we’re not going to put up with the insanity anymore.”
And the American people — especially the youth — are with her.
Gen Z: The Most Conservative Generation in 50 Years
“The coolest thing we’re seeing right now,” Joni said, “is a huge shift in our young people. For the first time in 50 years, Gen Z is becoming the most conservative generation.” Why?
Because they’ve lived the results of radical ideology firsthand.
They’ve been told they can’t pray, can’t question gender ideology, can’t call themselves Americans with pride, can’t speak freely in the classroom. They've had to memorize pronouns but not the Bill of Rights.
But they know something is broken. And they’re rising up.
“Our young people are smart,” Joni said. “They know you can’t just change reality. There are facts. There are truths. And they’re saying, ‘Wait a minute. This is ridiculous.’”
She sees it daily — requests pouring in from new Turning Point chapters around the country, asking for pocket Constitutions and educational tools. Students are hungry for something real. For truth. For freedom. For God.
“They want to belong to something. And what better thing to belong to than their own country — a free nation, rooted in liberty, protected by the Constitution?”
A Shift After Tragedy — and the Power of One Voice
Of course, no conversation about Constitution Day 2025 can avoid the deep wound left by the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Joni knew him. Admired his work. And deeply understood why his message was dangerous to the radical left.
“He had a gift,” she said. “He could look a young person in the eye, let them speak, debate with them, challenge them — and still show respect. That’s what we’ve lost. And that’s what we have to get back.”
The global response to Charlie’s murder — from haka dances in New Zealand to vigils across Europe and Asia — isn’t just mourning. It’s proof of a sea change.
“People are done being quiet,” Joni said. “They will not allow their voices to be silenced anymore.”

The 917 Society’s Mission: Truth in the Hands of Every American
Founded on a simple but profound mission — to ensure every 8th grade student in America receives a free pocket Constitution — the 917 Society has now expanded its vision.
And this year, for America’s upcoming 250th Anniversary, Joni revealed something stunning:
“We’re printing 2.5 million commemorative Constitution booklets with a beautiful new gold 250th anniversary seal. These will go to every student and adult who wants one. It’s a movement.”
And that’s not all.
The Society is also organizing a national call to rededicate America to God — just as George Washington did on April 30, 1789, at St. Paul’s Chapel.
“We’re asking President Trump to walk to that chapel on April 30th, 2026, and rededicate this country to God — on his knees, just like Washington. We’ve got the petition ready and the letter is on our site.”
This is more than symbolic. It’s spiritual. It’s national renewal.
From Now Until Next July 4th: What Comes Next
“We’re not just fighting for a country,” Joni said. “We’re restoring a covenant.”
And by next Independence Day, she wants to see the Constitution not just in more pockets — but in more hearts.
The goals?
Distribute 2.5 million gold-edition Constitutions nationwide
Raise $1 million by March 7th to support the 250th campaign
Mobilize grassroots chapters and Turning Point USA partners
Launch a national rededication to God on April 30, 2026
Equip young Americans to stand boldly for truth — unapologetically
Final Word: You Will Not Silence Us
“Constitution Day is not just a history lesson,” Joni told us. “It’s a call to courage.”
“We’ve been considerate. We’ve played nice. But now, we will speak boldly. And we will not allow others to suppress our speech anymore. Not in the classroom. Not on social media. Not in the halls of Congress.”
And that’s the heart of the 917 Society.
It’s not about politics. It’s about principles. It’s not about division. It’s about devotion — to truth, to liberty, and to the God who made us free.
This 917 Day, we honor the Constitution not as a relic, but as a rallying cry.
“We’re not going to play defense anymore. We’re going to push forward — with voices, with courage, and with God on our side.” – Joni Bryan
