Becoming a volunteer at 917 Society gives you the amazing opportunity to make an everlasting difference in the lives of our children by distributing a copy of the Constitution to every eighth grade student! We need your help in order to be fully prepared for Constitution Day on September 17th!

Delivering Constitutions to Schools

The volunteer would need to deliver to areas which have not been requested by or assigned to legislators or other volunteers. We would do our very best to accommodate your request. Click here to complete the form.

Phone Calling

Any calls to legislators or other groups which might be prospects to gain buy-in on the 917 Society projects. This might also include school contacts to either gain buy-in or set up delivery of constitutions.. We would provide a calling script for volunteer callers and, in most cases, there would also be a list of those who we wish to contact.

Social Media Volunteer

This would require the volunteer to have a knowledge of basics for posting/maintenance of social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, etc.

Grant Writing Assistance

The volunteer would be working with the Executive Director. You should be experienced in writing grants and have sources to which you can submit them. Grant writing is the practice of completing an application process for a financial grant provided by an institution such as a government department, corporation, foundation, or trust. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Grant_writing

We will begin signing up volunteers to help with deliveries to schools in each state for 2025 by County/Parish. We have a checklist that will help you with organizing. Click here to download the PDF checklist.

Our email outreach of over 27,000 emails to principals and schools has begun and we are receiving orders from across the country!

Volunteers also needed to help with Marketing and Media to spread the word about our work. Use your skills for a great cause!
