Pocket Constitutions

Our organization is made up of people who care about our country. Our mission is to provide a lasting, durable pocket Constitution for every 8th grader in the United States free of charge in honor of September 17th - Constitution Day.
Our volunteers sign up to distribute to schools or obtain our pocket Constitutions to distribute through community events and parades, other grade levels such as high school or college, civic groups and clubs and even by personal distribution.

Curriculum and Lesson Plans
Explore our curated resources on constitutional literacy, including engaging videos, synopses, and valuable links from our partners and other sources. We aim to provide students and teachers with essential knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, especially during the often-overlooked Constitution Day celebrations in schools. Additionally, Allen W. Kessinger, Master Sergeant, USA (Ret), has developed a Civics Literacy Curriculum complete with a Study Guide, designed to complement our Pocket Constitution. Together, these resources empower both students and educators to foster a deeper understanding of our foundational document.

Get ready to celebrate the week dedicated to our Founding Document with your loved ones and neighbors! We have some wonderful suggestions to help you honor this special occasion. Be sure to check out our resources for cover letters and resolutions to enhance your planning. Together, let's make this celebration truly unforgettable!
God & Country Campaign
The God and Country Campaign is a collaborative initiative between the First American Bible Project and The 917. For our nonprofit organizations, "God and Country" represents the Bible and the Constitution. To date, we have successfully placed over 2,500 Bibles and 2 million Constitutions back into schools. As we move forward with our mission, we invite you to support us.
