On a bright, clear September morning in 2001, America was forever changed. The attacks of 9/11 left our hearts broken and our skyline scarred. But amid the smoke, rubble, and sorrow, something extraordinary happened—something that can only be described as a miracle. Today, as we commemorate this somber day, we do more than remember the lives lost. We recall the hand of God that was present then—and the hand of God that is still with us today.
St. Paul’s Chapel: A Beacon Amid the Ashes
One of the most profound and symbolic stories of 9/11 is the survival of St. Paul’s Chapel. Just yards away from the Twin Towers, this humble church stood untouched while everything around it crumbled. Windows unbroken. Walls unscathed. A tree in the churchyard fell in just the right way—shielding the chapel from flying debris.
St. Paul’s Chapel became a sanctuary for first responders and a spiritual refuge in the darkest hours. That tiny chapel, built in 1766, where George Washington once prayed after his inauguration, stood not only as a historical footnote—but as a prophetic symbol. The very place where the foundation of our Republic was dedicated to God became the refuge of a grieving nation more than two centuries later.
This is not coincidence. It is providence.
The Walk of Washington: A Legacy Reclaimed
On April 30, 1789, after taking the oath of office at Federal Hall, President George Washington walked solemnly to St. Paul’s Chapel. There, he knelt in prayer and consecrated the new nation to the Almighty. He knew that America’s survival, prosperity, and liberty could not endure without divine guidance.
Today, in the face of new trials and tragedies, that same walk must be taken again. Not just as a symbolic gesture, but as a declaration of our enduring covenant with God.
President Donald J. Trump, as a leader who has consistently defended religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and the Constitution, should follow in the footsteps of our first President—literally. In honor of all that has been lost, and all that we still fight for, he should recreate that walk to St. Paul’s Chapel. Not for politics. For providence. For the soul of our nation.
A Tragedy That Demands Resolve: Remembering Charlie Kirk
Today, as we reflect on the resilience of our nation, we must also grieve another tragedy. Charlie Kirk—an unapologetic patriot, a defender of the Constitution, and a bold Christian voice—was murdered for doing what our First Amendment protects: speaking truth, sharing his faith, and defending liberty.
His loss is a deep wound to the conservative movement and to every American who cherishes free speech. But his life—like those honored on 9/11—will not be in vain. We must carry forward his torch.
God Was There Then, God Is Here Now
The United States was not built on the shifting sands of secularism. It was built on the rock of Biblical principles. The Declaration of Independence refers to our “Creator” as the source of our unalienable rights. Washington, Madison, and Adams all acknowledged the necessity of religion and morality for our Republic to survive.
In times of darkness, we are called not to retreat—but to return. Return to our roots. Return to God. Return to truth.
The 917 Society: Raising a Generation That Remembers
This is where the mission of the 917 Society becomes more urgent than ever. We are committed to ensuring that every 8th grader in America receives their own pocket Constitution—not just as a relic, but as a roadmap. A roadmap to understanding their God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
In the face of evil, censorship, and intimidation, we will not back down. We will continue to educate the next generation with the truth about our founding, the brilliance of our Constitution, and the necessity of moral courage.
Because the battle for America’s soul isn’t won in the halls of Washington—it’s won in the hearts of her young citizens.
Let Us Rise
Let this 9/11 be a day not just of remembrance, but of recommitment.
Let us honor the miracle of St. Paul’s Chapel, the walk of George Washington, and the voice of Charlie Kirk by pledging our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor to the cause of liberty.
Let us return to the God who preserved us then—and will preserve us still.
And let us say with boldness and conviction: We will not be silenced. We will not be shaken. We will stand for truth. For God, For Liberty and For Country.
God bless America.
