Rededicating America to God

On April 30th, 1789, George Washington walked from Federal Hall to St. Paul's Chapel and dedicated the newborn United States of America to God.
On April 30th, 2026 — 237 years later to the day — we walked it again.
What made this year's rededication walk extraordinary wasn't just the ceremony, the prayer, or the moment Rodgar led us in rededication at the same altar where Washington once knelt. It was the people who showed up. Patriots, history lovers, and friends of the 917 Society who came from across the country to be part of something that matters.
This year we were especially honored to have with us a direct descendant of George Washington himself — walking the same streets his ancestor walked on the day America began.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us — including our friends from Data Power Supply — for making the 237th Inaugural Reenactment a day none of us will forget.
This is why we do this. History isn't just something you read about. It's something you carry forward.
