We are excited to highlight a wonderful initiative that took place at Triad Middle School in St. Jacob! Board of Education Member Jeff Hewitt recently shared a post on Facebook showcasing the pocket Constitutions distributed to 320 8th-grade students in honor of Constitution Day.

Jeff’s Post:

“Today is Constitution Day.”

On September 17, 1787, the United States Constitution was signed—creating the framework for our government and outlining many of the rights and responsibilities we have as Americans.

Here’s a quick fact: The Constitution was signed 239 years ago today and it begins with three famous words: “We the People.”

Thanks to an amazing donation – all 8th graders received a pocket copy of the Constitution today in homeroom.

Constitution Day is a great reminder that our voices, choices, and participation matter. Happy Constitution Day Crusaders!”
