Broward County FLTo celebrate America's 250th birthday, our third-grade class brought history to life by creating a human timeline highlighting important events, people, and milestones from 1776 to today. While our timeline celebrates 250 years of American history, it also connects directly to the U.S. Constitution and the ideals it established. 

As students moved through the timeline, they saw how the Constitution created the framework for our government and how its promises of liberty, rights, representation, and "We the People" have continued to shape our nation. From the founding of our country to expanding rights, overcoming challenges,and reaching new milestones, each generation has played a part in America's story. 

Our human timeline helped students see that the Constitution is not simply a document from the past, but that it is the foundationof the American story we are still writing today.
