The 917 Society welcomes Founders Club member Chairman Sabi "Doc" Kumar, who represents House District 66 in Robertson County.
Chairman Kumar's Profession is in General and Vascular Surgery, Laparoscopy & Endoscopy.
He is married to the fabulous Mrs. Linda Kumar and has a daughter :Nina, who is an attorney.
Chairman Kumar considers himself as a Conservative Republican and is affiliated with the First United Methodist Church where her serves as a Sunday School Teacher in Springfield TN.

His U.S. Patents include 1) Surgical Skin Staple, 2) Method and Device for Cholangiography (Kumar Clamp and Kumar Catheter), 3) Method and Device for Mesh Fixation (Kumar T-Anchors); 4) A Single-Pass Skin Suturing Device.
Chairman serves in the Tennessee General Assembly as a member 109th-113th, past Chair Mental Health & Substance Abuse Committee, and is presently the Chair of the House Insurance Committee.
