Joey Brake

The 917 Society Board welcomes Joey Brake to the Founders Club.

Joey is a strong Constitutionalist and is a Stateside and International businessman. He graduated from Houston County High School and attended Austin Peay State University and has studied electronics and welding. In addition to his cattle farming, he is currently a contract worker for the Tennessee Valley Authority and is a retiree of that company since 2021. He still maintains his membership of 21 years with the IBEW Local 1749 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers).

Joey has served on the Houston County Commission for District 6 for twelve years and is a member of the Tennessee Firearms Association and the Houston County Farm Bureau. He is also a member of the Houston County Republican Party. He is a supporter of the American Bible Project as well as The 917 Society whose mission is to distribute the U.S. Constitution to 8th graders across Tennessee and the Nation to honor and celebrate Constitution Day each September 17th.

Joey is the proud father of one son, Jamie, who graduated from Houston County High School and from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. Joey has attended the Elk Creek Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years.
